Our guest is investment banking veteran and industry legend, Trevor Rowe AO - without question, one of the Nation's preeminent businessman having forged a forty-plus year international career as a specialist in capital markets, investment banking, deal-making & corporate advisory.
Trevor is currently a Senior Advisor to Rothschild & Co Australia, having previously been Executive Chairman of the company for a period of some seventeen years.
Immediately prior to this role, he spent twenty-three years at Citigroup Global Markets, holding a number of senior positions on Wall Street, in Asia and later in Australia, before rising to become Chairman of Investment Banking - his time at Citi also coincided with the acquisition of Salomon Brothers, the Australian division of which he launched in 1983.
Major roles and appointments throughout the course of the past twenty years include but are not limited to; Chairman of Queensland Investment Corporation (nine years), Chairman of UGL Limited (eleven years), Non-Executive Director of the ASX (eight years), Member of the Takeovers Investment Panel (three years), Member of the Australian Foreign Affairs Council (ten years) and Chancellor of Bond University (six years).
