InstaDocs 2.9 builds on the momentum of earlier releases by introducing features that improve transparency, strengthen document protection, and simplify version handling. These updates were shaped directly by agent and prospect feedback and aim to make the dataroom more efficient than ever.
Document Watermarking
The new watermarking capability gives agents greater confidence when sharing downloadable content. You can choose a Confidential label or apply your agency name for brand reinforcement. Once enabled, any individually downloaded file will automatically include the selected watermark, helping maintain ownership over sensitive documents throughout the due diligence process.
Prospect Online Status
Real time visibility of prospect activity helps agents understand which buyers are actively reviewing content. A small online indicator appears next to each prospect and in the header of the dataroom, signalling when a prospect is currently online.
Enhanced Duplicate Upload Logic
Managing multiple document versions is now more flexible. When uploading content that already exists, agents can replace the current file while preserving all associated data or upload a fresh version under a new name.
