InstaDocs 2.8 marks a major improvement in how agents manage documents, permissions, and prospect communication. This release focuses on removing friction from day to day workflows while giving agents more control over how information is shared.
Larger File Uploads
The new upload limits allow agents to add PDFs up to 50MB as individual files and up to 200MB when uploading folders. Uploading is now simpler, faster, and more reliable across for a variety of file sizes.
Customised Download Control
Agents can now tailor download access at a granular level. Every document can have its own download setting, and permissions can be tied to specific prospects. Controls can be accessed from both the settings centre and the Documents tab for convenience.
Listing Page Dataroom Widget Updates
We have enhanced the listing page widget based on observed performance across campaigns. Listings that display file names can see up to 30 percent more enquiries, so agents now have the option to toggle file or folder names on or off regardless of link settings.
Improved Prospect Notifications
To reduce email fatigue, prospects now receive a single notification summarising any uploads or reveals completed within a 15 minute window. This keeps messaging clear and prevents prospects from receiving multiple emails in quick succession while still keeping them informed.
Additional Enhancements
You can now hide documents before prospects enter the dataroom, allowing you to prepare content in advance without exposing it prematurely. The activity tab also includes additional events, giving agents more visibility over prospect behaviour and internal updates.
