Novak Properties, formerly known as The Novak Agency, was not founded without its own set of difficulties!

Mark Novak had always wanted to manage his own real estate company, one that was unlike any other. What he didn't anticipate was to be compelled to open, own, and operate his own agency with just a few days' notice at the tender age of 23!

For many years, Mark had been a highly successful seller at a small Northern Beaches agency. At the tender age of 20, he was NSW's top salesperson and had invested heavily in a property management company where he had previously worked.

Working for his then-boss did not go as planned, so Mark made the dramatic choice to shift his property management firm and run it independently, managing and operating his own agency. Within days, a location was found, files were packed, computer systems were installed, and employees were hired, and Novak Properties was created — a real estate business unlike any other the industry had ever seen.

Mark's goal was to develop a different kind of real estate agency, because there were so many out there sowing the same seeds, walking the same walk, and talking the same talk. His goal was to go against the trend and focus on providing clients with products and services that were far ahead of the competition.

This goal has become a reality 16 years later, with the Novak Properties brand firmly established as one of Sydney's top agencies, employing 45 employees, managing over 1500 properties, and continuously breaking objectives and records. This is evidenced by a long number of industry-leading accolades.

Novak Properties' headquarters, dubbed "Sydney's trendiest Real Estate office" by The Daily Telegraph, are designed to look like a six-star hotel.
